First State Bank Awards $11,000 in Scholarships

First State Bank recently awarded eleven $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors across our communities who are pursuing a post-secondary education. Congratulations to these outstanding scholarship recipients:

  • Wyatt Adamovich (New London High School) – Son of Adam and Jami Adamovich, Wyatt intends to pursue a career as a congressional staffer, studying public policy at Georgetown University.
  • Maggie Baltus (Auburndale High School) – Maggie is the daughter of Carl and Katie Baltus. She plans to major in communication sciences and disorders at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
  • Ella Dillinger (Auburndale High School) – Ella is the daughter of Michelle and Troy Dillinger and the recipient of First State Bank’s 2024 Employee/Son/Daughter Scholarship. She aspires to become a surgical technician and study at Mid-State Technical College in Marshfield.
  • Alyssa Durrant (Waupaca High School) – Alyssa is the daughter of Ryan and Melissa Durrant. She intends to study social welfare and Spanish at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Carson Gregory (New London High School) – Carson is the son of Christopher and Linda Gregory. He looks forward to the School of Business program at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Lilyanna Perlak (Stevens Point Area Senior High) – Lilyanna is the daughter of Lisa Perlak and has been accepted into Northcentral Technical College’s nursing program.
  • Emma Rokus (Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids) – Emma is the daughter of Paul and Jamie Rokus. Emma’s journey begins this fall at University of Wisconsin-Madison in the field of neurobiology.
  • Lydia Smits (Assumption Catholic High School in Wisconsin Rapids) –Lydia is the daughter of Craig and Sara Smits. She intends to study communication sciences and disorders at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to be a pediatric speech pathologist.
  • Lauren Wegener (Little Wolf High School in Manawa) – Lauren will attend University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to study sonography. She is the daughter of Chad and Lisa Wegener.
  • Carolyn Winder (Marshfield High School) – Carolyn is the daughter of Audra and Tom Winder and plans to major in biochemistry at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Henry Zaleski (Stratford High School) – Henry is the son of Brian and Christina Zaleski. He intends to pursue his post-secondary education at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in biology/pre-medicine.
