Share the Joy with First State Bank!

First State Bank is once again excited to partner with customers, community members and local organizations to make the holidays a little brighter for those in need. Each of our branches is offering a little different way to get in the spirit of giving. Check them out, and contact your local branch for more information on how you can help!

Auburndale Giving Tree - Visit our branch and choose between our family or individual ornament tags on our giving tree in our lobby. Each ornament has gift suggestions listed. Then, return all unwrapped items to First State Bank in Auburndale by December 8th to be distributed by our partner organization, Wood County Human Services.

Clintonville Giving Tree – Stop by the branch to select an ornament from the tree in our lobby. Purchase toys to fit the age of the child on the ornament tag. New, unwrapped gifts should be returned to First State Bank in Clintonville by December 13. Toys will be distributed by the Clintonville Goodfellows.

Greenwood and Withee Shoe Collection – Little Angels Daycare in Loyal accepted a challenge to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes for Haiti. Help them reach their goal and earn challenge funds for their daycare program! Drop off any type of footwear and size, gently worn or new through December 31 at our Greenwood and Withee offices.

Manawa Giving Tree and Food Drive - Select a gift tag from the tree on display in our lobby and purchase a gift, food item, gift card, or gas card, as listed on your ornament tag. Return your item or unwrapped gift to First State Bank in Manawa by December 1 for our partners at the Salvation Army in Waupaca County and the Manawa Food Pantry to distribute for the holidays.

Marshfield Food Drive - A favorite holiday lights destination in Marshfield, Rotary Winter Wonderland is collecting non-perishable food donations to restock local food pantries. Our Marshfield branch will be accepting donations on their behalf to be delivered on our volunteer night at Rotary Winter Wonderland on December 30.

New London and Christmas for Kids Toy Room - Our partner organization in New London, the Christmas for Kids Toy Room, is asking for monetary donations only, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. First State Bank in New London is therefore accepting cash donations to Christmas for Kids through December 1. Eligible families will be given gift cards to use for their holiday shopping.

Rudolph - Our Rudolph office collected monetary donations in the month of October to purchase gift cards for local families dealing with food insecurity. Staff will distribute the gift cards around the holiday season to four local families.

Stevens Point - Stop by our Stevens Point office by December 12 to drop off your new, unwrapped gifts for the Rotary Club of Portage County 2021 Toys for Tots toy drive.

Waupaca Giving Tree - Visit our Waupaca branch to choose an ornament from the tree in our lobby and purchase a gift to fit the needs listed on your ornament tag. Then, return your unwrapped gifts to First State Bank in Waupaca by December 8 for distribution to families in need by Miracle Tree in Waupaca.

Wisconsin Rapids and Humane Society Supply Drive - First State Bank in Wisconsin Rapids is holding a supply drive for their local humane society, South Wood County Humane Society. You can participate in the branch's Reverse Advent Calendar and donate supplies according to the humane society’s suggestion list or make a monetary donation at our branch. The calendar extends from November 8 to December 10.
