Important update

10/11/23 - Due to the inclement weather forecasted, First State Bank's Fall Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 14, has been postponed until June 2024. Thank you for your understanding. With this event schedule change, the final opportunity to enter to win hourly prizes and our $1,000 Grand Prize drawing is 5 pm on Friday, October 13. The Grand Prize Drawing will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, 10/16/23.


Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Limit one entry per person which is good for drawings throughout the week. You must be present to complete an entry form. Employees and immediate family members of First State Bank are not eligible to win. A valid mailing address and phone number are required for the purpose of contacting you if your name is drawn as the winner of any of our prize drawings.

Entry forms available to individuals who stop by First State Bank’s New London office (only) during business hours Tuesday, 10/10/23, through Friday, 10/13/23. Hourly winners of $25 gift cards and similar value prizes will be drawn starting at 10 am through 5 pm each weekday of the promotion. All entries from the week, including hourly winners, are eligible for the $1,000 Grand Prize drawing which will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, 10/16/23. Grand prize will be paid in the form of a cashier’s check. All winners will be contacted at the phone number provided on the form by 5 pm on Monday, 10/16/23. Prizes must be picked up at First State Bank by Friday, 10/20/23. No account opening is required and will not increase your chances of winning. Need not be present to win. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. Grand prize winner agrees to be photographed for promotional purposes. Grand prize winner will also be required to complete an IRS W-9 to certify their Taxpayer Identification Number for IRS Form 1099 and will be liable for any and all taxes related to their prize. Consult your tax advisor for more information.
