Payables Management

Streamlined payment solutions create benefits for your farm.

Running an agricultural business means managing both incoming and outgoing funds. Payments to suppliers, equipment vendors, property managers, and utilities can be time-consuming, but First State Bank offers a range of solutions to make these transactions easier, faster, and more efficient. With these tools, your team can focus more on the farm and less on paperwork.

Bill Pay

Paying bills by issuing paper checks involves considerable staff time and postage costs. Our online Bill Pay is a resource-friendly alternative.

  • View all your farm’s bills and invoices in one simple location.
  • Make one-time payments with just a few clicks.
  • Set up recurring payments for regular expenses like utilities or rent.
  • Receive reminders for upcoming due dates.
  • Access a complete history of past payments.
  • Reduce paper clutter and save on postage costs.

ACH Origination

Another way to streamline the payables process for your farm is to use the nationwide Automatic Clearing House (ACH), which offers a quick, secure, and electronic way to transfer funds, saving you time and ensuring payments are made without delay.

  • ACH Origination is available through First State Bank’s Business Online Banking.
  • Use ACH Origination to pay vendors, utilities, insurers, and other suppliers electronically.
  • Eliminate the risk of checks being delayed or lost in the mail.
  • Free up your staff’s time by reducing check processing tasks.

Wire Transfers

When you need to send large sums of money quickly and securely, wire transfers are a great option. They are often used for significant transactions like real estate deals or payments to distant business partners.

  • Domestic and international wires are available.
  • International wires may be made with U.S. dollars or foreign currency.
  • Initiate wire transfers via Business Online Banking, email, fax or phone, or by visiting a First State Bank branch.
  • Domestic wires initiated prior to 3 p.m. CST are delivered the same day.
  • For your farm to receive a wire transfer, you'll need First State Bank's routing number: 075907497

With these streamlined payment solutions, you can make sure your farm’s payables are handled efficiently, leaving you with more time to focus on growing your business.
