First State Bank's COVID-19 Updates

Thank you for your understanding and patience during the recent COVID-19 Safer at Home order. We hope you and your family have been staying safe and healthy.

Our Safe Banking Plan

First State Bank lobbies reopened on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, for normal business hours Monday through Friday. Offices that have Saturday lobby hours will remain drive-up only service at this time.

  • We encourage you to continue using our drive-ups and online banking services for normal, day-to-day transactions whenever possible as we are limiting the number of customers permitted in our lobbies at one time to support recommended social distancing. Limits vary by office and will be posted at each entrance.
  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well and practice social distancing by maintaining a distance of 6 feet from other customers and employees as much as possible.
  • You are welcome to wear a face mask in our lobbies, but it is not required. Keep in mind, we may ask you to present a photo ID as a security measure. You may also see our staff wearing face masks as a personal preference or when social distancing is not possible.

Your Decision to Stay Safer at Home

If you feel uncomfortable coming into our lobbies and need assistance with your accounts or have a question, please call your local branch or our Customer Care Center at (800) 994-2500. Our staff is happy to continue helping you remotely or may even suggest scheduling an appointment if needed.
