First State Bank’s COVID-19 Plan

As you are aware, the threat of the COVID-19 is rapidly affecting day-to-day lives and business operations in our communities. We are continually monitoring updates by our health and government officials regarding the COVID-19 outbreak to incorporate their guidance in our continuity plans as appropriate.

The health and peace of mind of our customers, staff and communities are our highest priority.

To support efforts to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, all First State Bank lobbies will be closed beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020. We anticipate reopening our lobbies for customer access on Monday, April 13, 2020, providing the COVID-19 public health crisis has subsided.

Our drive-up windows will remain open during our regular hours at this time to serve you. Our Customer Care Center Team is also available to assist you by phone Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm at (800) 994-2500. We are reallocating staff to these areas and appreciate your patience if wait times are longer than normal due to higher customer traffic and call volume.

We highly encourage you to utilize our other banking services like Online and Mobile Banking which offer convenient ways to check balances and verify transactions, transfer funds, and pay bills day or night. You can also deposit checks at your convenience using our Mobile Banking app and your smartphone.

If you do not have a smartphone or online access, PhoneFirst, our 24-hour telephone banking service, can be helpful for checking balances, transferring funds between accounts, or making a loan payment.
